My lying weight machine

I hate Mondays....

Got me a lying weight machine some months ago. There are few things a woman can resist and weighing machine is NOT one of them. I don't even need to tell the barnyard where I put it. Obviously, it's a woman thing that we can zoom in on the weight machine location like a homing missile.

Being the savvy consumer that I am, I wanted to make sure the machine is in working order before I purchase it by......(drum rolls) weighing myself. Unfortunately, I weight like a small elephant thus I am a bit paiseh to weight myself in front of strangers and the 'want-to-be-helpful' staff keep standing next to me while I inspect the machine and choose the colour. I keep inspecting and inspecting hoping the lady will get bored and moved away BUT she kept standing there with this 100 watt helpful smile. After I tried inspecting everything that I can inspect including an attempt to read the bar code, the woman is still standing there. Ok lar she win, I give up. I put the machine down and weight my Nodame bag instead. What? You think I will weight myself in front of her...?

Anyway, after I went home, I eagerly unwrapped and weighed myself. Fuiyoh... 67kg. Almost fly off the machine. So happy.... Then Mrs Chicken (still pregnant at that time) come and weighed herself. Then she declared my machine rosak cause it's 2kg lighter. Then we ask Moo to weigh herself and Moo said her weight fluctuate so not sure. Anyway, they ask me to go back and exchange it cause it's faulty. I was quite sad that I am not 67kg, sorry I mean to say the machine is faulty.

Anyway before I managed to change my machine, Mrs Chicken, after coming back from her checkup said she is indeed 2kg lighter, so my machine is working after all. I AM SOO HAPPY.... I am 67kg after all, sorry I mean to say the machine is working after all. Before I can bask in my happiness, Moo who came back from gym, weighed herself and said my machine rosak cause it's 2kg lighter. What the........................

Between the two of them now I am confuse. Is my weight 67kg or not... sorry what I mean to say is my weight machine working or not. Anyway I have decided to keep it and call it the lying machine. The machine now sits next to my laundry basket and has more popularity than the iron board. The barnyard loves it.

Yellow is happy...

Lately the Lying Machine said I am 70kg. (T__T)

Good nite...
